I have a 2003 jdm evo 8 and have downloaded my stock rom via ecuflash (romid 93660005) i have also downloaded the evo 8 jdm 2004 rallairt rom from openecu which is 97250001 now to be able to use the maps within the ralliart roms do i just copy and paste the info from all the tables over into my rom or can i flash the entire ralliart rom over to my car?

 

not sure what happens on your side of the pond(your roms) but to be safe I would copy to your rom.

 

how do you copy and paste using ecu flash.

my ROM info only comes up as (table 1) where as my ralliart ROM has all the maps. how can i paste the ralliart maps when my stock maps arent visble??? HELP

use notepad to open up the closest xml file to your rom. look for the sections of the maps. and copy and paste it into an xml file with your romid. then double check the tables look about right in ecuflash. I am going to do a video tutorial soon, some advanced ones. this may help.

 

thanks hamish. i'll try work it out but i was thinking of giving you a call then i thought that you would have better things to do... hows the weather up there? i heard you guys had rain warnings?
