Copy and edit 98640014.xml to become 98650014.xml, they are almost the same.

98650014 is more common on the airtek turbo's however there does seem to be a few jdm 7's with the same rom id.

And that is not a stock rom

Seems to be exactly the same as 98650015, I've attached that xml renamed to read that the ROM attached in post 1. No disassembly done to verify maps so use at own risk.

No it's not very stock is it Russ, now get out in that garage and build that lump up!

I've not seen 98650015 so can't comment on that 1, same as I haven't seen a 98640015 but there must be one as I have 98640016

As for the engine, I can't build it up, until the crank and bearings arrive

He he, back in the bad old days, no one seemed to care about the VII ROM's except me and a few guys in diverse places such as Trinidad and Dubai. Fortunately Bez had a VII and JCS Banks and GTOdesign gave me a lot of help with the deffs so I got most of the known ones done pretty easily.

Now every bugger with an 5 or 6 wants a VII ECU and tephra has obliged magnificently with 90550001. Lucky you and BarryC managed to get the ball rolling on that!

Good luck with the latest and hopefully final build on that bloody engine, I told you it was an old banger!

Yeh I guess I was quite late coming to the scene but then I guess if I hadn't been given some info, that I figured was worth a try, there would be no 4/5/6 owners running later ecu's still

As for the roms themselves, I have tried to grab every 7 rom i've come across, just to see what if any differences there are between them.

The definitions seem to be pretty easy to sort out now, even if there not 100% perfect they seem to be close enough
