HOW TO Scale MAF Sensor?

i installed my home made Cold Air intake, same style as the APS. but notice the car bucks while on crusing speed... but runs fine under high RPM's. felt like a misfire but it was'nt.. then i reinstalled my KNN open filter directly to the MAF Sensor, just like where it was before, and it runs smothly. so i figure i need to re scale my MAF.. but i need to know which area to change

TIA

Do a log with the good setup. Make sure you log RPM, Airflow Hz, STFT, and wideband if you have one. If you don't, then log IPW as well.

Go for a drive going through all RPM and Hz ranges, especially where you are experiencing the bucking with the new setup.

Then put on the new setup and do the same logging. Compare the two under the same conditions and you will see what Hz ranges need to be adjusted. For example, if on your good setup, at 100Hz airflow your STFT is looking good, bouncing somewhat closely around 0, then with your new setup, at 100Hz your STFT is way negative or way positive, then this 100Hz cell is what needs to be adjusted, as well as possibly the neighboring cells.
