Issue logging AFRs with ZT2 and Evoscan
Here's the beauty of v2.5, they give you a shortcut. Click on "wideband (WDB)" on the top bar in evoscan. Then click on "Open Windows Device Manager to check ports (COM)". Find out which com port your USB cable for the ZT2 is listed under. Enter that com port # in evoscan and make sure you selected the ZEITRONIX option on the dropdown list.

New Issue
OK so now I have noticed a couple things...
1. LCD reads 15.6-15.9 while idling... (not all of the time) Now if I had done the open loop mod, I wouldnt worry bout it, and just correct it, but I have yet to do that! I blip the throttle and it goes to 14.6-14.7...
2. When I let off the throttle, and put in "nuetral", say cruising to a light... LCD reads 21.0 AFR. Also fluctuates between shifts... as if it were trying to go to 21.0AFR...

I know that the installer tried this, w/ no success, but I took ur advice Jack_of_Trades and successfully DL'ed 2.5 and followed ur instructions, and "Bingo" we are in business! Thank you very much!
But I still have somewhat of a problem... Every time I have installed 2.5, it leaves out all of the files associated w/ Evoscan... Most importantly, "saved Datalog files". I can now log, but where the heck do the logs go, to look @ them??? Theres no Data .xml file... nuttin.

Your car will go to 21:1 AFR during deceleration to save gas. It shouldn't do it in neutral but it will if you are decelerating with it still in gear. It shuts the injectors off completely because basically the wheels/transmission are keeping the engine spinning on their own (cliffs notes version of whats really going on). It will always fluctuate between shifts but whats important is what the AFR is when you are in gear under a load.
You're very welcome, glad to help.
Does the idle seem to only go lean after you first start it up and let it idle? I noticed that my car seems to "hang" in open loop mode longer than its supposed to when I first start it up and let it idle but once I blip the throttle it goes into closed loop mode and idles at 14.7:1.

Thats weird cause I could swear mine is doing the opposite, where it fluctuates between 14.6-14.9 while decelerating (in gear) and shoots to 21.0:1 (in nuetral)
check it out again on the way home...
Thanks again for the input
Ok so on the way home, started it up (by remote) jumped in about 2 mins. later, and was reading perfect 14.7... And it jumps to 21.0 AFR while decelerating in gear and in nuetral. (Both)
well jumped in today, and it read perfect 14.7... On the way to work, it didnt even lag more than a second. (in nuetral) weird... It would shoot to 21.0 and as soon as I saw 21.0, it jumped back to 14.7... Yesterday, and the last few days, it was definitely lagging longer than it is now... looks like everything is ok, but I'll keep my eye on it...
Could the heat have anything to do with it? I had it between the head unit and the hazard button. Now that I have moved it down under the cubby hole, its not heating up, like it did in the last 2 locations... and now working properly!
