ECUFlash Min Temp for Full Boost Control Setup

Does anyone know for sure how the "Min Temp for Full Boost Control" works? There have been two occasions where I just have my car runnig for just a few minutes and I accidently overboost to 25 PSI in 1st gear. My setup with error correction usually just goes up to 22 at the most.

Could it be that when the Min Temp for Full Boost Control is not reach the car just uses the straight MWGDC tables instead of just using zeroes for the WGDC until temperature is reach? If this is true then it would be safer and better to lower the stock 85C value. For the stock Boost Control setup that is not an issue because of the pills but for a GM 3 Port setup that is another story. Anyone knows?

The "min temperature for full boost" item is an incorrect entry. It actually has nothing to do with temperature or boost control under normal conditions. There is a thread on it somewhere. Next release of ECUFlash will not have this.

BTW, saw your PM. Hope to have an answer for you this evening. :-)

Thanks for the info!! About the PM thats OK. I still need to redo my baseline DC with PSI values instead of load. So I might not do the actual correction trials until Friday. Too much work these days.

I think I found the tables I need. They are:

- Max WGDC Correction vs TPS
- Max WGDC vs Coolant Temp

Anyone knows the Address for these two, or at least the Max WGDC vs Coolant Temp for a ROM ID 96420008?
