ah oops, i was at work and reading quickly...

so i need to have the green light flashing, then hold down the autoics button for the predefined period of time to switch between maps...do i have it right this time?

 

you hold down the autoics button to switch maps, its a toggle. so if you are ON ALTMAPS holding it will switch to normal maps, if you are ON NORMAL MAPS holding it will switch to ALTMAPS...

The green light FLASHING indicates you are running ALTMAPS, no flashing means normal maps..

that make sense?
