So today I changed the scaling to 1044. At first I kept the same injector latencies just to see if it would start and it did but was idling lean. I then shifted to a latency spread with just a tad more voltage. Basically the original settings suggested for these: 1.320/0.936

The new settings seem bring AFRs back in check but I haven't had time to check trims just yet. I do I find it odd that my car starts fine with injectors scaled from 975 to 1044.

Why do you find that odd?

I've started and driven a billion of cars from the parking lot onto the dyno with stock injector scaling on 800cc to 1450cc injectors.

I find it odd that it will start and run fine when misconfigured yet not start right when warm and dialed in.

latencies should be pretty close already if you have them tuned for pump.. they might need a tiny modification on e85 (but once you get them working on e85 they will work on pump)
prob i have is i have never tuned it for pump, i used to have a autronic plug and play but sold it now im starting from scratch , and speed density as dont have a maf big injectors and stroker so running blind really.
i have got it started it idles on e85.... oxy feed back trim is in the minus between 8 and 25... a afr of around 12.5-13 on my lambda.

do i start with injector latentcies or the ve sd maps.. to correct. i have a 7 bar omni sensor i think.

Injectors have been in for about three weeks now. I have zero'd. The 14v areas of the cranking enrichment map and am down to .9v on the initial cranking map which is the lowest before 0. Can I zero all voltages as most SHOULD be unused right?

Warm starts getting better but still not perfect.

If you zero the Initial Cranking the car won't start.

Sorry for the delay.... I managed to get the car dialed in fairly well on both pump and E85. Now that the temps are down in the 20s I need to add some IPW for cold starts but other than that things are okay. I still have a wandering at idle AFR.... it goes from 14.7 to 14.5 and back but that doesn't affect how it drives or idles.

Anyone ever find the ideal setting to fixing the warm start-up issue with these injectors?

I tried two sets.... one purchased new and one replacement set from FIC. I spent countless hours dialing those POS injectors in and still had warm start issue. I am 100% convinced those injectors are crap. If you have the warm start issue you will more than likely not be able to eliminate it.

Instead I sold them purchased 1100 high impedance injectors. The new injectors start every single time without issue hot or cold. In fact the really didn't even need any fine tuning. Simply plug in the numbers and call it a day.

I wasted much time trying to get those 1050s to start right... I should have smashed them with a hammer and mailed them back to FIC. If I would have spend 1/4 of that time working a second part time job at MickyDees I could have eliminated tons of frustration from my like, paid for a new set of 1100 injectors and probably got some tween tail on the side.

I would sell them and never look back.
