evoscan/ecuflash noob with question

6-28-08 EDIT: Alright i might have fixed it. i updated some drivers and things like that and played around a bit. im going to post some links to logs in another post. tell me what you think about my afrs, im not really sure if thats what its supposed to say. let me know.

alright before anybody tells me to search i have been searching for about a week prior to making this post so i could make sure it was nothing i could find out on my own.
i am using ecuflash and also evoscan version .99 as per shameless's suggestion. I have successfully logged (i think) but it did not log, knock, or afr. I have an innovate lc-1 with all the cables needed to connect and things like that. i changed all the com ports and stuff as i found out when i searched which gave me the clear to actually start the log and make sure it didn't give me an error. anyway, for some reason the afrs didnt come through, and knock didn't come through either. also. When i was logging i was expecting to see something more than just what was happening, im used to seeing dsmlink where you could actually see things happening on a steady graph. Also the guages i uploaded weren't really moving either. Also how to i go about looking at the fuel tables and things like that once i can log afrs, or even change the timing maps and things like that. Sorry for the extra newbiness, im trying to get to un-newb status asap so thanks for the help. Any other tricks and tips would be greatly appreciated! thanks again.

Did you download Chris's evoscan xml? Replace that data.xml in your laptop. Do you have serial port on your laptop? And LC1 connected to your serial port?

i thought the lc-1 only worked with the newest version of evoscan? on previous versions it would just have ***In Progress*** or something to that effect
