Hello all,

I'm new to the forum but have some experience of ECU tuning on my EVO I RS using TunerPro and TMO Datalogger on 98

Anyone previously used TephraMOD on their VIII FQ-300? I've tried using ROM 96530006, the features "appear" to work, the ICS lingers and the ICS button when held is blinking the Green LED to suggest the map switch has occurred......

but the car won't start. I've doubled and triple checked immobilser settings.. I would be willing to sacrifice them if I could get Tephra working?

I have scoured every post in search of a fix and I think the message that comes out...

......this isn't possible yet....

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, or confirmation I'm chasing my tail?! - I am a noob using EcuFLASH (1.35) on my newly acquired 03 UK VIII FQ-300.

I'll happily do any testing needed.

 

You could try and swap pins 8 and 22 around (A/C Relay and Fuel Pump Relay) on the ecu wiring harness.

 

Okay, I've got it running. But with one or two issues.... any thoughts chaps?

WORKING
1. ICS Linger on manual trigger
2. ICS state resume on re-start
3. It would appear maps are switching, will verify and report back
4. Valet mode works

NOT WORKING
1. Stationary rev limit
2. NLTS - have tried the suggested tests

OBSERVATIONS
1. Even with Valet disabled, the Valet RPM needs to be a valid number for engine to start
2. The modification to disable immobiliser is required (0x56d0)

QUESTIONS
1. What does the rear O2 simulator do? and when is it needed.
