Well, its the next generation of reflash cable from Tactrix for ECUFlash (and Mitsulogger)

It will be able to flash and log (I'm remaining mitsubishi specific but it will work with many other cars too) Both older mitsubishis and the newest CAN Bus Mitsubishis (Evo X)

I think logging speed is a factor of the MUT protocol and your computer and choice of software. I think your profile says you have an 03 Evolution. There are a ton of features that the 2.0 cable will have, logging to an SD card, etc.. You should go to www.tactrix.com to get some information on the planned features as I don't have much in the way of documentation.

What is new and interesting is this new cable does have the CAN Passthrough, which will allow logging and flashing of CANBUS based vehicles I also recall reading that it will be able to get OBD-II data from more cars than what the original interface worked with (Japanese, Some German German, Chrysler with OBD-II ports are what I can get to work with the v1.3u and v1.3m cables)

This is a really cool piece of hardware, but the original purpose of my post is to verify that Mitsulogger should work with this new cable, which I am in the process of verifying.

Interesting! Jack, what's the blackbox in the middle where ECU connect? It can power up the ECU and pull out OBD signal? What other use of that box?

the box in the middle is one of my Gadgets.. But it basically is a bench harness, allows me to run the ECU and connect to it using the hardware without having to go out to my car every time.

It has a CEL indicator that you can't see (yellow) and the switches represent the two power connectors, ignition and accessory (switch) power I can simulate the different states of the ignition and ECU standby with them.

Eventually it will simulate sensors and have LED indicators for injector and ignition triggers (I have an electronic Tachometer also, but its not hooked up because the tach output doesn't produce a signal at the moment) but this is all that I need to do a majority of the development.

MalibuJack,

Did you have a chance to see how the logging to the micro sd card works without
the laptop? This is the feature that will make me decide if I want to upgrade or
not.
