Talking HHO and Dyno Tune

I just got back from a look at a HHO system that I am going to test on my Evo. The system will add up to 25 % more power at the same boost level!

When I am off boost it will add 10 to 25% better fuel milage! that would help!

The system is very simple. My question is it possible to use EcuFlash version 1.35 to compensate for the MAP and O2 sensors input voltages? The HHO fuel additive makes most ECU read the exhaust gases look to the ecu as if the engine is running rich. A strap on fix is available but Hell I have this programable ECU so I figure I should be able to make

According to the maker of the cell I can get the power of Nitro with water. I see hydrogen generator pushing out 2 gallons per minute. The octane is better than the best race gas.

Any answers on he MAP and O2 Sensors?

Its a Hydrogen Generator. Pretty simple really. I have 2 of them running on a Dodge Cummings and a Chevy S10. Works well but really not made for performance as stated. Its made for better gas mileage and better emissions. You cant produce enough Hydrogen to "make more power then any race gas". You would have to store the Hydrogen in a high pressure tank to be able to do that. Problem with that is its not safe "think the hydrogen bomb" So to make it safe any hydrogen that is made is immediately injected into the engine.

The fix's that can be found for the rich condition are just o2 simulators so i dont see why you couldnt be able to do it with the stock ecu IMO but Tephra would know more about that!

There are hydrogen vehicles using high pressure storage tanks. Ex. Honda Clarity FCX (just released in California LA area). Although it is an electric vehicle using hydrogen to make electricity through a stacked fuel cell, its not injected into an ICE.

I think if it was extremely dangerous there would be government regulations against such technology for an OEM, and I don't think it would go with Honda's "safety for everyone" campaign.

I would be very interested to understand the risk though, I do have my doubts.

HHO systems are a scam. Please do some research.

This has "xray vision" written all over it...

Is that really a jam jar with two twist bolts and rubber lines with zip ties on it??

It works. Not in the exagerated sense the OP is hoping for... But you can take 12v and bash an H off the H2O to make some HHO and some Hs and pumb it through the intake for some increased efficiency.

The kits pictured are crude, and the OP is correct in wondering how to calibrate AFRs with the HHO output. I would not try it on an evo as it would just get complicated. Also, hydrogen bomb implies thermo-nuclear fission, pretty much not a danger here although some Hindenburg-like action isn't out of the question.

Actually it does work. I know a guy that is tunning it on his Lexus. He has seen a pretty good increase in throttle response and MPG's. It does not give huge numbers though. If you can increase your MPG from 25 to 30 mpg then why not. I dont see feasible on a high perofrmance though.
