evo scan 2.4 question

when im plugged in and logging my car, my "anti-lock" light keeps flashing. once i unplug everything it goes away.

anyone have more info on this?

edit: everything logs fine, just that keeps flashing and it bugs me lol

It does this on every Evo, if I'm not mistaken...ur selectable ACD indicators should flash if you have that as well.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

It does this when a diagnostic cable is being used. Dont look at it.

I believe older EvoScan cables do it and the ables bought directly from Colby/Tactrix or distributors do not. Supposedly harmless but definitely annoying.

Evoscan Cables have more lines connected to OBD Interface.
I think these additional lines makes it possible to connect to the other ECUs (ABS, ACD,...)
The Problem is, that these lines cannot be switched off, so the diagnostic mode cannot be avoided
I have alread ask Hamisch a few times about detail for these modes/lines and the protocols to do some open source work, but no response.
Thats the problem with a commercial product. It bothers development for the open source community.

Ahh I was told it was an EvoScan specific thing

Mine does it and it is bothersome.

once you go over I think 2000rpm it stops flashing...
