Evoscan 99 2byte load problem?

Ok..this started happening after installing 2 byte load on my rom and flashing my car. It started throwing all sorts of dtc's in evoscan but didn't seem to affect the logging or engine until now..Its consistantly throwing dtc's and causes my car's SES light to come on and sometimes the engine runs rough(idleing). I rechecked the rom change and everything was done right. The only thing that seems to log correctly and not peg to max value is the lc-1 wideband(when logged). Any help would be appreciated!

First, I'd suggest pulling up your stock ROM and copying the values from there to use for the values you've set for the 2-byte load addresses. Go ahead and flash that back to your car to make sure that fixes the issue.

Then, check back over your definition file and make sure you're using the correct addresses for the low and high bytes.

I folowed this instruction

" 4.) Enter 27458 as the value for "2 byte load high bit."
Enter 27459 as the value for "2 byte load low bit."

also just checked my oem ROM and the higher # is in the high bit and lower in the lower bit..not sure if that makes any dif...27169 (high bit) 27168 (low bit). I'll go and try to flash those values to my car thanks

What version ROM do you have? 13,14, or 15?

I tried to flash my car w/ the oem 2byte load values and nothing changed in Evoscan..dtc codes, engine running rough, pegged sensors. I checked the addresses copied from the 2byte load for dummies thread and this is what was copied...seems ok

<table name="2 byte load high bit" address="3EE86" category="Misc" type="1D" level="1" scaling="uint16" />

<table name="2 byte load low bit" address="3EE8A" category="Misc" type="1D" level="1" scaling="uint16" />
</rom>

Problem fixed..just in case this happens to anyone else..uninstall Evoscan and reinstall it and the problem was fixed I think I pressed the "debug serial cable" button in the wideband pull down menu by accident does anyone know what that is used for?

although,I'm still getting a bunch of dtc codes(knock sensor,speed sensor,injector circuitry,etc.) but everything else is working good.
