NLTS boo boo.

Watch out for that clutch pedal, if you even look it wrong, that little switch will do it. Here is my 4th gear WOT where the wind blew my shoe lace on to the clutch pedal. Lol..

My engine did not like that at all!! At first i thought i broke something (bad thoughts) , then after reviewing the logs, the only thing i can blame it on is NLTS. So Watch out for that clutch pedal!

Im still on the tephra V1 nlts mod, and have turned it off. Too many days of looking like I cant drive a stick getting through traffic. Its pretty darn sensitive, and really violent when your not expecting it.

I used 1250 because i dont shift fast enough (i dont like abuse of the clutch) and 800 would make it bounce off the nlts-limiter

Ha ha ha... I did that today coming out of a tunnel I was using as an open dump echo chamber. I slow footed the the clutch pedal going into second. It was just enough for that one sudden eyeball detaching jolt.

My unknowing passenger just gave me the OMG WTF? look.

So I had to basically explain that I suck at driving. Always a fun thing to do.

Well it did it again, but IM sure it was not on the clutch pedal. I looked and my boost limit is still at 235, and boost cut ms was 1000ms. So i hit boost/fuel cut. I fix it before, but i guess changing from stock to tephra and roms roms roms, i forgot to change it back. Well it should work fine now Ill post back later. Its already iller time

Yeah, mine is set for >90% tps, >160 load. But if your doing a WOT run and you tap the clutch pedal in excitement your going to botch it up.

Thats kinda bad too, will lead to early clutch failure because of wear. I really try to practice and use the foot rest on the right on the floor. I had to change my stocker at 42k becaus of foot-pedal-resting. (I blame that one the wife, luckly she has a ford explorer now )

yeah 98 is better that way you are CONSCIOUSLY in NLTS

Also I always used to accidentally hit it because I rest my foot on the clutch getting ready to shift... Which is bad anyways - ****s the clutch

i was having a problem with the NLTS mod when i first put it on. but after looking at the top switch i noticed that it needed to be adjusted toward the clutch pedal a little. its a kind of a PITA to adjust it but it was well worth it. now i dont look like a tool when im making a run. so if your having problems its worth the effort to adjust it. FYI to adjust it you have to unplug the wires, losen the lock nut then turn the whole sensor and there is barley any room to get your hands to it but its doable.
