It's been driving me *beep* crazy for the past few weeks chasing random knocks. I have my regular ROM with my tuned maps in it ready to go. Going to load it in the car tonight and rip off a few logs.

One thing I'd like to know is how many tables use the same rpm and load axis' that are affect when we rescale our load and rpm columns. I noticed that my anti-lag map (possibly an EGR timing table) had been mosses during my rescaling and it threw off my cruising timing big time.

Thats the variant I'm currently running, and every so often I get some manor of low load (turning out of a parking lot, for instance) knock as indicated by the flashing CEL. I can't verify that its actually knocking, I attributed it more to my lack of a recent tune & probable aging stock O2 sensor (read: I've been fairly lazy and somewhat negligent since the clutch started slipping). I picked up a new wbo2 sensor friday and I'll order a new front o2 here before long.

So I'm trying to see if there is something I might have done wrong over the months with my rom editing which might be causing the tip-in knock HELL. Here are a few settings I have for my 94170015 rom and I wanted to see if anyone spots anything wierd.
LeanSpool Enable=48 (address = 1681)
LeanSpoolDisable=48 (address = 1685)
BoostEnhancement (anti-lag) START RPM= 1500 (address = 1680)
BoostEnhancement (anti-lag) STOP RPM= 1500 (address = 1682)
I havent touched my "Boost Enhancement Enrich/Enlean (anti-lag) Map" or the "Boost Enhancement Adv/Ret Map 2 (anti-lag)" maps at all but I wondered if I should try zeroing these out? The "Boost Enhancement Enrich/Enlean (anti-lag) Map" shows AFR values but it uses the RPM axis used with Ignition Timing so I tried it with my own scaling of "x-128" and it looks like a timing retard map but I'm not sure.
Any help would be awesome. This tip-in knock is killing me!

I don't like using odd byte leanspool addresses.
Also you should use 0xFBA to disable leanspool rather than the old-rpm disable method
Also your Leanspool enable AND BoostEn Start addresses overlap...
Post up the scalings for both?
Generally don't touch the boost enhancements as they are wrong..

Jack....this might help
94170015
Lean spool START (1680) setting = 2500
Lean spool STOP (1684) setting = 7844
Scaling for both....(RPMStatLimit)
I deleted the boost enhancement/antilag from my ROM.

So how do I go about doing the 0xFBA disbale??
The values I got were ones posted all over this forum for years now, thats why I figured I'd start looking into any other area that might be affecting my tip-in knock issues.
Wasn't the boostEn Map2 confirmed to be the EGR timing advance map? It certainly seems to correspond with the values I get. I get 45 degrees of timing @3000rpm at 30 load where-as my map shows 38 degree's and the boostEn map shows 5 degrees advance. I would assume the remainder was from other correction tables adding a little timing too.

0xFBA bit 0 (ie last bit) is leanspool enable/disable, 1 for enable, 0 for disable.
I would set your:
LeanSpool Enable=48 (address = 1681)
LeanSpoolDisable=48 (address = 1685)
BoostEnhancement (anti-lag) START RPM= 1500 (address = 1680)
BoostEnhancement (anti-lag) STOP RPM= 1500 (address = 1682)
All back to stock.
THEN DELETE
BoostEnhancement (anti-lag) START RPM= 1500 (address = 1680)
BoostEnhancement (anti-lag) STOP RPM= 1500 (address = 1682)
FROM YOUR XML AS THEY ARE WRONG... probably causing your knock :P hehe

No matter what changes I have done I still get crazy knock counts. Even turning the boost as low as I can get it I still get knock and I know there is no way I should be getting 12 plus counts of knock at 12-13 psi during partial throttle.
