For all of us with the older tactrix cables that dont work with newer versions of ECUFlash i wrote the fix for 1.35. Now that 1.37 is out im thinking about re-writing it as a launcher (so you dont have to open the app seperately). Would anyone be intrested in this?

This version works the same except you just run the exe file. It launches ecuflash.exe and patches it, then quits. Just drop the exe into your ECUFlash 1.37 folder and run the exe instead of ECUFlash.exe. Replace the ECUflash shortcut with a shortcut to my exe for easy access If anyone wants to know the details here they are:

mrfred talked to colby about the older cable issue. The new version says "make shbootmode less picky about receiving ACK responses" but it still freezes when using an older cable and new software. I think tommorow after work ill get back into it and try another fix.

hey my name is will i work for vip performance ..here in portland,or .looking for a base map for a 04 evo8 ...we have ecuflash software and tatrix cable ..the upgrades on the evo turbo back exh. intake..bigger intercooler..rfl bov..and 740cc injectors (they are stock clipped)do u have a base map i can download..it would be a really big help..had utec on there but the program went to crap

 

Yeah for a USDM 04 EVO8, you need 94170015. Download it here http://evoecu.logic.net/wiki/Image:94170015.zip As for a map tuned to those mods, I cant do anything that with out having the car and a wideband o2 sensor.

 

How about a cable hack for 1.38 which just came out, and yes I would be interested in a launcher.

My cable is over a year old .

 

Dl'ed the 1.38 fix and i get this ????

Launching ECUFlash.exe.
ECUFlash.exe not found ! Exiting."

 

Where is the 1.38 hack attempting to launch the ecuflash.exe from (path)???

 

It launches ecuflash from the current path. So just drop it in your ecuflash folder and run the 1.38 hack exe
