2 step question

Since im seeing some knock on the 2 step would the ecu switch over too the low octane map?

And load percentage does the motor usually see?

It's normal to have knock, when 2step rev limiter is activated ECU will not switch to the low octane map, as far as I know..

depends on how much knock... Log "Octane Number/Value" to see how much of the low oct maps its using...

I want to set a certain amount of timing for my 2 steps so i need to know what boxes to change

log your 2 step and see what load its at

OK i logged it and set timing to -15, making 15 psi off the 2 step

-15 is WAY too much, but aside from that the ECU won't pull that much timing anyway. The IX is limited to -10 and the VIII is limited to -8 or something I think.

To get 15 psi on the 2 step you can run +6º or so ... no need to pull that much. I get knock anywhere above 13 psi or so anyway.
