need help fast

I bought some Greddy 720cc injectors based on the above seeing that alot of people here who used these setting worked right off the bat. Can somebody please help the car is idles at 10.4 afr on the wideband and goes to 10.0 when driving, I even went as far to reinstall the stock injectors and put back the stock values and that worked like before.

What tephra said,

Every car is different, check the fuel trims and adjust accordingly.

Since you say it idles at 10.4, the low fuel trim would need to be maxed out positive and then some.

Try to start with 660 and not with 636 - may be you were out of range

I am a bit confused Idle should be find with the injector scaling, with all due respect your suggestion does not make any sense to me, if that was the case why does every evo has the exact scaling for 560cc injectors. can somebody please guide me to get this thing to work please. Also do I need to take the battery pole off after I reflash with new scaling? I was reading somewhere that they said that the trims will not reset with a flash unless this is done.

Idle is scaling and 14v latency.

Check your fuel trims, they should tell you what is going on.

Stock evos all use the same scaling and latency because they all come with the same parts, stock. The fuel trims are there to adjust for different climates, health of the car, etc.

Once you move away from stock, every evo is different.

Almost sounds like your front o2 sensor is bad. But you said putting the stockers and the stock setting back in it was fine right? Did you disconnect your battery for a bit to reset the trims before you started playing with the injector scaling and latencies.

Razorlab why is it that the stock scaling and latency for the STOCK INJECTORS don't matter what temp, climate and health of the car ect will idle good on any evo? you theory don't make sense.

It doesn't make sense to you because you keep ignoring the whole part about fuel trims.

It's not a theory, it's a fact.

You grabbed latencies and scaling from here on evom. Now you are wondering why your car is running like crap.

Here is the last advice I will give, please pay attention:

1. Check your fuel trims, anything more than +/- 5 should be delt with using latency and scaling adjustment
2. If your fuel trims are totally maxed out, I would lean more towards an injector or 02 issue (since you said your stock injectors didn't do this I would lean towards the new injectors)
3. You want to reset your fuel trims when adding new injectors. On 7-8 you have to cut power to the ECU in order to do this.
4. If all check out, I would triple check installation and/or if these injectors are really what you are being told they are.
5. Heaven forbid you have to do you own injector scaling since the free data from this site didn't work in your case.

again, CHECK YOUR FUEL TRIMS

ROFL... take it down bro I think you have answered my question here

this is the only thing I did not do since I did not see it on the blackboard... thanks if all else fails I will make sure and let you know the findings.
