Boost control using EcuFlash and stock pills

So I installed a boost gauge and started seeing the boost reading, just like I read here boost goes up to 19psi and then when I hit 4500rpm it goes to 15psi or so. I read this thread:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=227006

then read this other thread: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=288408
I read a few other thread using a jdm map sensor and a GM map sensor. I am a bit confuse, I want for my car to hold 19psi of boost all the time or something close to 19psi without chanching any pills. Can it be done? How? Please advice!
I read that by putting zeros in the in the Boost Error Correction I can do this, is it true? These threads had a lot of people doing diferent things and it seems that for some peoplesome things work and for others they had no luck.

The stock system runs at 100% WGDC unless it hits error correction. So technically it is 100% maxed out already.

Opening up breathing will allow the car to run higher boost (open intake, turbo back exhaust, etc)

But without a different pill or different solenoid, you cannot up the boost as it currently sits with your current mods. Unless it is hitting error correction because of the mods and reducing WGDC.

best thing to do without changing any hardware to make sure you are boosting the most you can with the current mods is logging load and making the appropriate changes to the boost control tables.

Get a MBC or use a pill to keep your boost at 19psi throughout the powerband. Both are wicked cheap and work great.

So by just chanching the exhaust I would expect a boost increase? I have a Cobb TBE that I will install this weekend so I will see if I get a change in boost, will keep all posted.
I zero out the error correction on a few spots, like the first four and the last four, I did not notice a boost inclrease.

a MBC would be the easiest path snice you will be bypassing the boost solonoid and its orfice pill.
or you can put a different size pill in its place to be able to boost higher, or just take the pill out completely.

For now I am not interesting in boosting higher, all I want is to be able to hold the same amount of boost on all rpms. Can it be done?

for an 8 yes, i've seen this. but not for a 9. the 9 heads better efficiency will make the boost drop more drastically - unless you take out / change pills with the stock BCS.

So if i understand right. When i want to install a aftermarkt Solenoid (like Grimmspeed or GM) or a Boostcontroller (like Apexi or HKS) i have to remove the pill/pills?

But where i can finde this pills? And which i have to remove?

I forget where the pill is, but the grimmspeed comes with new vacuum lines so you can pull out all the old ones going from the solenoid

Also not certain if those pills were in the JDM/UKDM cars as they were in the USDM ones. For the aftermarket BCSs like the above poster notes I believe they usually come with their own lines so it shouldn't matter.

if leaving pill in its place and hook up EBC, what will happen ?
I've maxed out my ebc's duty cycle at 23 psi and putting pill in the loop will it help me to boost higher ?

What ebc are you running? Pills normally restrict airflow allowing for more boost. So if it needs a pill and there isn't one you won't be able to hit as high of boost as you would like.

What turbo/wastegate are you running?.
