yes... Is it a big enough issue, to keep her in the garage till I get a replacement? Will it just worsen, causing more damage if I drive it?

Well, allowing the crankcase to pressurize more than 1-2psi will increase your risk of blowing out your oil seals (cam gear seals, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, etc...) plus it puts positive resistance on the back side of your pistons which can lead to premature wear and a bunch of other little things that slip my mind right now.

You can certainly drive the car but I'd try to stay out of boost until you can replace the PCV valve. You can check if its the PCV valve usually by removing it and trying to blow through both ends, the check valve should only allow air to pass one way.

Thanx for the info! This is beyond my limited knowledge, and I honestly have no clue! I just got part #'s, sent an email to the dealer for a quote on the pcv valve/hose, and turbo oil seals (couldnt find a part # for the turbo oil seals)...

Where exactly is the PCV valve? I'll try to check it, if its not too complicated...

I didnt do any logging this morning thinking that it would just make things worse... But I did lower boos a bit... I think its best if I just keep her in the garage for now.

I really appreciate the insight!!! I knew/know something was/is wrong, but I have no experience to diagnose the symptoms.

I also sent an email to the shop, maybe they can find/fix the problem now that they have an idea what to look for... Thanx again!

I doubt you need the turbo oil seals replaced unless you confirmed earlier with the shop that they are definitely leaking. The turbo oil seals are internal to the turbo and the dealer would never have a part # since they only sell the turbo as a whole piece (non-servicable). You dont need a new PCV valve "hose" just the valve itself. Its located on the back side of the valve cover on the passengers side. It screws into a 90 degree bent tube on the valve cover and is connected to a hose that goes from the valve to the intake manifold.

Here is the only pic I could find quickly with google, the one on the right is what yours looks like. Its only about 2-1/2" in length to give you an idea how big it is.

I was hoping it was just the valve, but figured I would get quotes for everything, just in case... Good to know! I will take a look @ it l8r tonight. I was gonna ask if you had a pic, and you already posted 1! unfortuneatley, it didnt show up...

Ok I feel dumb asking after you already gave me a good description of what it looks like and where, but after taking a quick look w/ my untrained eye, its like looking for a needle in a hay stack... lol Is it near the Dipstick/JDM map sensor area? Can you give me a more descriptive location? SORRY! Im assuming that a black hose is on the long skinny end, w/ the threaded side screwed in to the peice you decribed, but will I still be able to see the metal fat section? and where is it? lol

its the only black rubber pipe goin to the back of the rocker cover left side as you look in, under the loom that runs across the top of the engine the valve is just pushed in to a grommet in the cover.

Where is the "rocker cover"? what is a "loom"? and what is a "grommet" Im sorry I had to ask, and I appreciate all the help... wearing flame suit.... Im trying to be more hands on!
Is there a thread "Locating parts in the engine bay" for dummies?....lol

The 90 degree adapter is actually threaded into the valve cover and is a 1/8 NPT fitting, no rubber grommets here.

Perfect! Thank You Todd! Will check to see if any leakage...

On another note... I pmed the shop, and copy/pasted the diagnosis you gave me Jack_of_Trades... And the response was " you don't have to take hoses off to do a boost leakage test. if you have that much oil going through, that mean your pistons ring are on it ways out. Get a oil catch can and see if it helps. Better yet come by for a leak down and compression test". The reason I went in was for a leak test... Why would I wanna pay for another? Is a compression test necessary to diagnose this problem... All I know is I want this fixed, and fast!

Anyways, I was kinda hoping he would have said oh that makes sense, but w/ his diagnosis, now Im really concerned!!! Could this even be a realistic possibility? My car is new (06)10000 miles and pampered! I might have been running a tad bit too much boost for 91, but the car wasnt knocking till now...

Thanx for the insight/pics!
