borrow a GM BCS to characterize?

Does anyone have a GM BCS laying around that I can borrow for a week? I want characterize the latency and the pressure drop of the BCS to compare with the stock BCS and the Prodrive BCS. I've already measured the latency of the Prodrive BCS, and fixem2 is sending me his stock BCS.

PM me if you have a GM BCS that I can borrow.

Thought I had an old one, just went to look for it in the garage but I couldn't find it. I'll have a look in the attic latter to see if I put it up there.

I have one you can have. I will send it out tomorrow or friday. You can pm your shipping info. I no longer use it because I use the ingersoll rand.

Just out of curiousity, How do you test the latency and pressure drop. And what does this knowledge actually tell us? No sarcasm.

PMed you. Thanks!

For latency, I use a power supply, a signal generator, a solid state relay, and an oscilloscope. I can directly measure the length of time it takes the solenoid to open. This is good for determining how quickly the solenoid can be cycled. Pressure drop I'll measure by hooking the solenoid up to a pressure source, open the solenoid (apply 12 V), and measure the pressure between the solenoid and the pressure source. This should give an indication of which BCS can dissipate the greatest amount of pressure on a WGA.

Wish I had cool stuff like that...

The duty cycle for the BCS is a pulsed ON/OFF signal right? So shorter latency allows for finer adjustment in boost as related to time? And higher flow=more potential boost over the WGA spring pressure?
