Phantom knock?
Here's the issue. I'm getting several counts of knock during partial throttle/low boost. It seems to happen when I'm slowly accelerating or when I'm giving it a little throttle and maintaining a low amount of boost (as in going uphill in 6th). As you'll see in the logs, sometimes it starts prior to going positive pressure, sometimes it waits until after the transition. Sometimes it doesn't do it at all, which leads me to believe it's phantom. It doesn't do it during wot pulls or even when close to wot, like when I'm passing someone. It also disappears after I get to a higher load/boost level.
One log file is on my normal tune (I'm still working on it trying to learn), the other I richened it up a little bit and lowered timing to damn near 0 (-1 in a couple spots). I did it quick just to see if it would change, which it didn't seem to.
I've gone through the entire engine bay looking for anything that would rattle and have fixed everything I could find by beating/shaking on the exhaust, ic piping, front bumper (it rattled a little bit), etc.
Any ideas, or should I not worry about it?
Thanks
PS: How do I post a csv file? I tried converting it to .txt, but it was much too big.

1 to 2 counts of knock for short periods is not really much to worry about. And light knock in the regions you describe happens for a lot of people.
On an VIII, I would not expect to see 0 degree timing until the big end of the load column(at low rpm), a IX should not be different in that regard. the standard qualifications being your turbo, gas type etc.

It's not just 1 to 2 counts. Sometimes its as high as 5 or 6. It worries me because it will "knock" for quite a while sometimes. I put the 0* in there with the idea that pulling timing and adding fuel would reduce/eliminate knock if it were real, but it didn't
I'm on stock turbo with 93 octane.

to bad we can't see what your car is doing.
what load is the knock happening at? load and psi are variable.
what rpm?
what is the timing right before the incidents.
what afr, before and during?

I do have logs, just not sure how to post them.
Load - it happens between 80 - 130ish
rpm - usually anywhere between 2500-3500/4000
timing - varies. Sometimes its still up in the 20s 30s for cruising, sometimes it's already dropped down going into boost.
afr - doesn't seem to matter. I had it at low 11s, then dropped it to mid 10s (didn't help) then dropped it to high 9s with no help. I did this concurrently while pulling timing back. I have a zt-2 which a changed the NB switch point to 15.3 so I thought maybe going from that lean to rich might cause it. I've lowered my load to open loop threshold to 80% to drop the AFR prior to going positive pressure. Didn't help either. I've also lowered the zt-2 back to 14.7.
