Its ready, I'm just fixing up the EvoScan Virtual Dyno a little better. I'm not happy with the numbers it produces.. more testing will make it great... maybe I'm being too perfectionist on it. But the Virtual Dyno does have to stand up to your guys approval
the new EvoScan version v2.9 will have auto check for updates too.

Ding Ding, what he said. iPad setup anxious. My car needs some logging and tuning in a big way and my old PC laptop is crapped out. Cams on the way too, so I see a zillion log files in my future. Thanks for your efforts!!!!
Well here I am just fixing a few last things on EvoScan v2.9, and I decided to try about 60 different random optimizations on EvoScan at 4am in the morning after a big New Years party pretty trashed ... I managed to get the EvoScan logger speed to jump from 500 samples/sec up to 112,000 samples/sec!!!!, and logging to disk at that speed! I didn't believe it until I opened up the 65Mb file that was created within 10seconds... And sure enough.. there she blows... a million and one pieces of data.. Here is a snapshot of just 20 milliseconds of data EvoScan created with the new optimizations...

Albeit EvoScan was not connected to the vehicle at this logging speed, so I went and did some real live tests connected to the EvoX and Evo8 sitting in my driveway. And it translates to around a 35% increase in logging speed for Evo4-9 and 3% increase in logging speed for EvoX
MUTIII: with LogToScreen Off, and Multithreading On
15625 baudrate, now 328 samples/sec (was: 212 samples/sec)
62500 baudrate, now ? samples/sec (was: ? samples/sec)
EvoX MUTIII: with LogToScreen Off, and Multithreading On
500000 baudrate, now 101 samples/sec (was: 98 samples/sec)
Have a great NEW YEARS everyone!! what a great start to 2012 for EvoScan
