EvoScan v2.6 And New EvoScan GPS/Logger/Reflashing Touchscreen Review
yes and with the new EvoSCan v2.9 coming soon, it is just a matter of "drag and drop" of the data items on the main screen of EvoScan to change the position of the items.. very handy.

Hamish what are the chances of evoscan supporting the prosport widebands natively, if not natively is there any chance you might know the calculation's needed for evoscan to log accurately?

Just an update to my problem. My cable came today. Tried to get the GPS unit to see the ECU via evoscan....It connects so long as it has external power source.
ECUFlash still can't read the ECU. Its giving the same error message that I've researched on this forum as if the battery is too low. I started the car and then had it read and it still pukes after trying multiple times to read the ECU. Any ideas?

Smurfzilla, how is your battery now? all charged and working? Don't forget to use 1.3U cable and the 12pin white connector hooked up for Evo9 read/reflashing on GPSnav, and the battery all charged, and the cables all connected, and it will work fine.
Windows 7 and Vista have a feature called UAC.
The .xml in the Program Files directory is not actually used. Instead a copy of the program is made and placed in the Users directory, and that one is used.
If you try to edit or replace a .xml in the Program Files directory it will revert back to its original copy. This will drive you nuts if you don't know whats going on.
The solution is not to install EvoScan in the Program Files directory.
I install all my tuning programs, programs that might need their config files edited, and programs not fully compatible with Win7s UAC in another directory.
For example:
C:\ProgramsXP\

I have already uninstalled and re-installed in various folders, including on the root of the C:\ drive. There doesn't seem to be any folders or files associated with evoscan in my User directory
this is a parallel running on a mac, windows 7
it works fine, there have been 4 new releases on the website. download and install the latest version from the gpsnav webpage on the evoscan website.
