Yes Ceddy you are right. I have had this issue before. looking at my notes it has an offset, not sure why ecuflash would offset it compared to all other roms. I can cater for it in the Map Tracer.

Hamish it seems you now have your volunteer in NZ - I'm sure a lot of 7/8/9 owners will be very pleased to both log ACD/AYC datas and have the possibility to DIY bleed their ACD and AYC without paying $$$$ to a
dealer
I it helps I also volunteer to test / take logs,....
Infini_IV , you can start to make sure your 1.3U cable is prepared fot ACD logging see instruction on Limitless homepage in the Tips And Tricks section

Small annoyance here with Evoscan....
The Evoscan window doesn't remember it's position/size. So every time I open it, I have to reposition the window.
By default it is positioned slightly off the screen to the top right, far enough over so you just can't get to the "X" to close the program.

just posting to say I got my gps today (only took a week, I think Hamish accidentally upgraded my shipping) and I opted for the iGo software based on Buschur's reviews on it in this thread. Just playing around with it a bit tonight in the house, it is a bit more complicated to learn than the wife's garmin, but once you know how to navigate it, it's leaps and bounds better than her garmin.
There are a ton more options that you can set/change for example, it has several different ways of calculating your route, short, fast, easy, and I think a couple more. The Points of interest are phenomenal. Garmin vs. iGo, we searched the nearby college she works at, on Garmin you get one place, with iGo it provided a few different buildings on the campus as well as the college's nearby equestrian club and the other campus in the state. Also POI's load in seconds instead of minutes like the 2 year old garmin.
Oh bonus that I didn't realize, there's a headphone jack so it can even work pretty good as a portable movie/mp3 player, I really thought those features were going to be useless b/c I thought it just had the speaker
And of course there's evoscan without the need to break out the laptop. I can forsee myself becoming very engrossed in learning how to tune and read logs.
Hamish the wife was asking if you would just sell it as a gps without evoscan b/c she liked the nav so much haha!

Everyone should be using track n trace when ordering one of these.Yeah I have ordered 1000pcs of standard GPS without the Datalogging electronics. They will be available next month on my website at a cheaper price.

Almost forgot my favorite thing about this software. When you go to enter a town, after each letter, it disables all other letters that are not possibly the next letter reducing the chances of misspelling. (I.E. when I type P for the first letter of my town, it disables the b, k, m, t, etc. because no towns start with pb, pk, pm, pt, etc.) I can't tell you how many times I've mispelled stuff on the garmin and get angry at it. Oh also the keyboard is qwerty vs. the alphabetical order of the garmin.
And here I was thinking you knew I was hoping to get it before my birthday tomorrow
Cool, I'll keep any eye out, I suspect they'll be competitvely priced with the few options I found on google/froogle.
THanks again Hamish, awesome product!

I'm running Vista64 and downloaded the beta2.7 that is supposed to work with the AEM WB. Do I have to create a different folder for the beta version to work?, because when I open the beta version is says "missing data, etc, etc". Any help on how to get this running would be very appreciated. I'm not extremely computer savvy by any means, so if someone could help me out in steps or lamens terms, that would be great.
Take the exe file and drag it into the EvoScan folder, it will ask if you want to copy the new file and replace the old exe file and the answer is yes. You want to replace the old file with the new one. Then open it and it should be good.
