Can the Turboxs Knocklight be hooked to service light flash

Ok, so I searched but dont see anything on this and hopefully I didnt miss it.

I want to know if we can hook up the turbo xs knocklite to flash when the service light flashes with the tepha mod?

If not how would be the correct way to hook this up? I love the flashing service light on knock, but this would be great, nice and visible.

Thanks in advance.

You'd be better off hooking that POS to your rear bumper and dragging it behind your car.

I have a used one in the shop and thought I might use it for,

Brighter knocklite.

And get a shift light also.

Simple as that.

You could take apart your gauge cluster and solder in an led/bulb circuit to flash with the cel. Of course the led would light whenever you got a cel code too.

I added a LED light under my boost gauge.....(With the help from mrfred to get this working) I pulled the wire for the cel out of the ecu (forget which pin?) - its a ground wire. Then I added a new pin/ground wire from ecu then ran it and the power from my fuse panel to the led light. My actual cel doesn't work anymore but when you have a cel the led stays lit so its no big deal for me. You could splice into the wire and have both work but I hate splicing!

Reason I did it was because my autometer single gauge pod blocked part of the cel and it was hard to see sometimes, I def. like the red led much better.

Tephra, could we make the knock feature output a signal for other devices? I would love an audible knock warning like my boost gauge does for overboost.

Do you have any actual instructions this would work great. My wideband also sits right in front of the service engine light and also makes it hard to see.

actually i am already discussing some of the locals who are electronics privy on making a "warning box" that takes in a signal and outputs a sound via a midi controller. we might be able to make this work if we can output a signal.
