Would recommend against this.

What if you were stuck in rural, middle of no where and only crap 87 was avail. I'd still like my car to compinsate as much as possible, so I can could at least limp back to civility.

as mentioned previously.

This is ONLY going remove the altmap variation of the low-octane maps.

Thus your car will still revert to the REGULAR low-octane maps when it's in trouble.

I just see no point in duplicating these maps.

Don't use any alt maps.

Don't really use the base low oct that much either, boost defeat usually cures the knock. Candy.

How do we know how much memory use we're at? All I got is the SES/ICS de-energize on knock with a 96420007 thats in use.. Does 2-byte use any memory?

lol

C6 - um jcsbanks was refering to his shadow copy of the altmaps into RAM (for his LiveTuning patch).

but there is also a reduction of code and memory pointers for my stuff by removing low-oct altmaps.

2byte doesn't really use any extra memory...

C6 when I get V6 out I will see if I can do something for you (special rom)... :P

IMO if you have a knock light your better off than the minute protection the low octane maps provide.
