Can a faulty solenoid cause the FPR to not see boost? I'm getting weird lean AFR readings when I log the car @ WOT, AFR is remaining between 13-14, and that's not good.

Maybe the FPR itself has gone bad? Thus unable to increase the pressure 1:1?

Could it be a clogged fuel filter, dirty injectors, failing fuel pump?

Thanks for your help in advance.
If you have the correct periphery coding to turn off the fpr solenoid code you will not throw a light.

You do NOT need to have the solenoid plugged in and all you do is take a vaccum line straight from the fpr into the intake manifold.

As far as the wot lean condition, its hard to say what it is without seeing the car and/or knowing what the tune looks like.

I can see a faulty solenoid wrecking havoc but I've rarely ever ran into one going bad.

Hope this helps.

WICKED E did you happen to see this? Or have any comments on it?

I apologize... I did not see that post as I was viewing on my blackberry.

I would assume that without the IAC properly functioning on the stock ECU it will run like *** and most likely throw a code for something. I don't recall the IAC having its own code/CEL. You may want to ask the guys at AMS what they suggest doing.

I have looked through this thread and found no real answer to this. What is the fix for this issue. I am seeing this same thing and feel like an *** with my car warming up at 5am in the morning screaming at 3k. Thanks in advance.

I noticed the same thing when I disabled the EGR and pulled the plug to the sensor. I'm running ROM 94170015.

Check to make sure FAA bit 11 is enabled. Sounds like this is disabled as it would cause the crazy high idle at cold start up.

Right now my FAA Bit 11 is 0 which based off the periphery bits thread shows that 0 means enabled.

Sounds good. I know there has to be something simple that will help this.

0 = disable
1 = enable

If you look at his PDF it states 0 for enable for that bit. I know typically 1 is enable. Is his sheet incorrect?

No idea what "sheet" you are referring to but every bit I've worked with has been that way.

mr. freds mapping of periphery bits. Look at FAA bit 11. It states 1 is disable. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/at...t_20080830.pdf

You do realize that that whole sheet only applies to the USDM Evo 9?
