Don't buy the junk from Autozone/Napa/etc. Get EPDM caps on this page:

did this to mine just now i formed a little sputter from stop and go .. i suspect the iac needs to learn or something.. could also be because i ran my tank so low with the double pumper.. it doesn't like that.

Btw, I got mine from Advanced Auto. They have a big variety pack and these ****ers are very well made. I used a dab of super glue + zip tie.. Doubt its going anywhere

So guys if the caps I pictured are not a good long term cap then what do we need? post the info so I can buy from that site. I need a cap for the 2 ports on my tb and the big port on my intake manifold.

Those are really beefy. The only problem I forsee is the rubber deteriorating due to heat exposure. The ones Mrfred posted are available in high temp compounds as well.

I purchased a Set from mcmaster-Carr yesterday. Good for up to 600*F for 10 mins direct contact.

TSCOmp- the ones you bought are beefy, however, they suck when it comes to heat. After a month or so they become brittle and eventually crack.

I've been looking for a cap to go onto the nipple on the heating tube that goes around the back of the motor which used to connect to the heater core. I've purchased EPDM and Nitrile (available at NAPA) and they both crack after several months. This would have to be a big one, I don't know how big off hand but I'd say somewhere around 3/4". I can't find a suitable material for high pressure and temp.
