Question about ECUFLASH communication
Question about ECUFLASH communication
I have a car that i cannot flash with Ecuflash. If I try to read or write to the ECU I get the no response to any known code error. Now I checked the wires at the OBD plug and the white connector and they read back to the ECU. The grounds and the 12v to the obd plug are okay too. If I plug the ECU into another car I can read and write to it.
What I need to know to help me solve this is what is Ecuflash looking for in order to get communication going? Obviously this is missing here.
The battery voltage is fine (12.5v with the ignition on (engine not running) so that is not the problem. Also Evoscan works fine with it.
Anyone have any ideas?

+1. Also EvoScan and EcuFlash use two different plugs to interface with the ECU so one working and the not is really not a good test. I'd also see if someone else has a cable that works with both/try that cable on another car where both work.
