Does the 1.3 cable work with the new version of ecuflash? The way I understood it, is it is able to read but not actually flash the ecu. Is that correct? Would I have to buy a new cable in order to run the new version of ecuflash?

Just downloaded the new version just fine. Haven't tested it out yet though. What do you do with the Low coolant timing trim maps? Do you leave them as is with negative numbers or do you adjust them to be more like your normal timing maps? Just wondering because I do have a little cold start/running idle issue for the first couple minutes. What happened to the knock sensor filter maps? just flashed the car and I'm pretty sure it got rid of my cold start/idle issue. Not sure if it had enough time to cool off but pretty sure. Anyways- great stuff. No further answers needed.

 

You can zero them out.....or you can disable the cold timing trim in the periphery.

Knock filter maps were not correct, they were replaced with the correct knock adjustment maps.

 

If I have bit 9 in the FAA set to 0 then those maps have no bearing on anything? I'm running E so I have it disabled. Would adjustment of those maps give me better start/idle than just turning it off?
