Wait, what? This post confuses me on several levels, but I'll assume you're serious for the moment.

What exactly makes this solenoid you're referring to better than the GM, Prodrive, and MAC solenoids that mrfred posted detailed test data for a few months ago?

The stock solenoid, GM, gruppe-s, AEM, Perrin, etc can all hold that amount of boost on a 58 trim without breaking a sweat.

Nothing ground-breaking there.

$145 is a bit much, though it claims to be same resistance as stock. Nice that it comes with a bracket but I don't really get why it uses that tiny tubing.

PS, making your thread title looks like an ebay ad isn't terribly convincing.

Where are you seeing the details of the solenoid he is talking about?

fostytou, did I miss a post somewhere about this solenoid that included pictures, pricing, technical specs, etc? I'd be curious to see that, if only to see if this is just a re-badging of another solenoid.

And, agreed about the eBay nature of the original post, but it wasn't just the title.

Edit: GST beat me to the punch.

I didn't want to cross post since they aren't a vendor (and considering the nature of the thread). It was as easy as a google search for the company name to find. (I looked specifically in the IX section, but I'm guessing its in the VIII section as well).

Heh, drop the "s" from "Imports", and suddenly I find the company in question and their product. I don't immediately recognize it; I'm curious what the original application was that they borrowed it from.

If someone sends me one, I'll test it on the bench top. I doubt it can do much better than the GM BCS. There is a happy medium between bleeding pressure and keeping the pressure oscillations to a minimum. The GM BCS hits it pretty good. The only way to really beat the GM BCS would be to have the same bleed characteristics as the GM but have 1/2 the latency of the GM. I doubt that would be the case with this solenoid.
