Ok narrowed it down to where I can get it to fail.

In the pic below...
On the left table, is how the options are set when I first open the ROM that comes with v7t5. If I change the immob code on that ROM and flash my car, it starts fine.

If I then change the values in that table to the example on the right, and flash the car again with those new values, it won't start.
Nothing seems to be out of place with those values.

those values on the left are invalid. you should be looking at a definition problem

check your defs to see if there is any old mods coming through

Awesome thx very much, everything working now.

I un-installed EcuFlash and killed the folder. Reinstalled and started from a clean slate, copying my tables over into the new v7t5 ROM.

Car starts now with v7t5 and my tables copied over.

This ROM is setup to run the JDM 3 bar from the factory, I do know that.

Can anyone confirm that I have to use a jdm 3bar map to run 9653 on my ecu?

This is what I have gathered. No EGR and MAP sensor, however. It appears that we get idle control code p0505 with this rom. I have changed IAC valve and it still throws it. Will look at the settings one more time on monday just to be sure.

Any idea why it feels like I am hitting a brick wall when transitioning from vacuum to boost with this rom? I don't get it w/ the 9927

I am getting the P0505 code as well, I have fixed the idle screw multiple times by adjusting the BISS screw and putting the car into SAS mode. Car idles perfect and if I blip the throttle it progressively declines and doesn't skip a beat, so the screw is set perfect.

I am going to try and set Periphery2, bit 08 (idle test) to 0 and see if that disables that test. Anyone know if this will work for P0505?

Edit: I don't get the code running the 9417 ROM at all. Only when running the 9653 (adjusted the screw for this ROM too)....

No, because I'm not having the ecu control boost yet. I an still on a stock 4g64 longblock (96 galant) until I can get my eagle/wiseco combo in.

You still have to raise the limit regardless (I think)

I can't remember to back in the day of the manual boost controller, almost positive I had to increase the boost cut load limit and boost cut delay time.....

you still need to change your boost limit table regardless of whether your using ecu boost or not...

it should really be called "Load Limit"..

Boost limit table is at 235 across the entire RPM range. Boost cut delay is at 1000ms. Do I need to make changes....I am only running 8psi at the moment

What do your logs show you for 2byte and/or 1byte load?

I haven't had a chance to log yet. I uploaded the rom and took it for a spin and thats when i noticed it. I was in a hurry to get home so i just flashed my old rom and went home for the night.
I did just compare it to my 9927 rom (which runs perfectly) and the boost limit table is at 319 across the board. I changed the values in the 9563 rom and will flash it tomorrow and take a log.
