Tephra, can you tell us what address to map switch

Hi Tephra,

I tried to adjust bit 6 of FFFF8400 with a button in my app but it won't take the changes and switch maps.

Which bit of which address should I change?

Some people have your patch (+ my live mapping) and want to switch maps but don't have ICS or switch, but want to live map.

Cheers,

John

Hey John,

From memory there isn't a specific bit to set which map. It's just a countdown loop which set of conditions need to be met each ECU loop... if not the countdown gets reset... if the countdown gets to 0 then the maps swap...

I guess you could set the countdown to 0 and then next loop it should set to altmap.

Which version of TephraMOD are you using? 5.10 or 6?

5.10

How could I overwhelm the ICS variable though as well as kill the counter?

MR Turco, doesn't really look like this is feasible as the code hasn't been written in a way we can just poke a memory address to make it switch.

Let me look at the code and I will see if there is a "quick and easy" way todo it

No problem, it is a good excuse to finally build in the switch for switching maps.
