Is this right?

I have my wideband acting as my front O2. I already killed the P0134 with the periphery bits but I still get the heater code.

Could someone verify that FAA bit 14 ONLY controls the P0135?

Thanks bro. However, I'm just a bit skeptical because you drive a IV... so my guess is that even if bit 14 controlled other things you wouldn't be concerned by it. I have an 8, with the factory ECU. I want to know that disabling bit 14 won't kill something else that I'll need down the road. Please forgive my skepticism. It's just that the only time this car's wheels are turning is when it's on the road course. That's not the time for me to be finding our what I've mistakenly de-activated.

Maybe I'll need to make a new thread... This title probably isn't too appetizing to many.

I found this out only by trial and error (switching bits on and off). No disassembly of code was done. I don't believe anyone has actually done the disassembly, so use it at your own risk.

You could always use a resistor to simulate the heater if you are scared to try the periphery mod.

i was running a 4 plug evo8 ecu in it for a yr or more with bit 14 set to 0 with no other problems . before that i wired in a separate resistor to the heater circuit to turn off the cel

Thanks guys. Anyone know the resistor value and what pins to use on the plug?

FAA bit 14 being set to 0 does not work to keep P0135 from popping up.
