Inconsistent IPW's sometimes causing smoke on spool? 90550001

Hi all. I'm using 90550001 on an E7GSR JDM and am getting an inconsistent grayish/black puff of crap from the exhaust on first spool up, generally after pottering about a bit/first big spool up since starting the car. Once the initial puff is gone, it seems to clear and nothing is visible. My underbonnet temps could do with lowering to be fair.

I've been trawling my logs and my IPW's seem to have an extra 3 ms added to them from nowhere when this occurs although AFR's only go slightly richer (mid to low 11's down from 12.0. Unfortunately, I have to be in 3rd gear or less to get a reasonable view of the smoke but this means I get poor resolution in my logs.

I have -
disabled lean spool
raised closed loop temp to 120 (temp fix for a knackered 02 sensor)
flattened "Boost Enhancement Enrich/Enlean (Anti-lag) Map"

Has anyone experienced this before and possibly found a solution/reason? I have even gone so far as to isolate things like FPR solenoid, crank case breather system.

Just done a quick log on the way to work this morning, 2nd gear and only up to 7k rpm unfortunately (roads are a bit too short here for an 8.5k pull). The IPW's seem to match though. Car definately let out a puff on the first run and nothing on the second.

The only other thought I have is maybe condensation forming in the intercooler? I do get a fair bit of it in my catch tank.

Or maybe my accel enrichment is out due to my injector change and my log's don't have enough resolution to spot it?

your problem is changing the "Boost Enhancement Enrich/Enlean (Anti-lag) Map"

put that back to stop and see if it goes away.

why are you disabling closedloop?

I flattened out the "Boost Enhancement Enrich/Enlean (Anti-lag) Map" to try and solve the problem and it made no difference but will try it back the way it was and see if it makes any difference.

Disabled closed loop because my sensor ion dead (0.01v) and I'm waiting for a new one. Without it disabled I shoot straight up to +25% fuel trims.
