Alright I'm a noob to all of this. But am pretty handy at using a computer. I've tried looking all these things up, but there doesnt seem to be a sure answer. My first question, I have a tatrix cable, evoscan, aem wideband, and ecuflash. I dont know exactly how to tune my vehicle, so id like to avoid that alltogether. All id like to know is how to change only my rev limiter, because the owner before me has it set for 5500. Do i have to do a data log first and then find the rev limiter and change it? if it makes a difference helpwise, my setup is a 03 lancer oz rally, adjustable camgears, aem cold air intake, obx headers, n1 catback exhaust, clutchmasters lightweight flywheel. Any tips on how to tune my car safely would be greatly appreciated! thanks again for putting up with my stupid questions.

 

Why would you wanna do that? isn't 5500 enough for a quick launch? I'm assuming that's what you're talking about. If I really want a quick launch I just start rolling a tiny bit (this disables the rev limiter) then launch.

 

plug in cable, Open Ecuflash, click to read the rom, SAVE A COPY, modify appropriate table, flash. Did you make an attempt at doing this before asking for help?
