Activate the SAS mode in the actuators screen in evoscan, the IAC will go to it's "parked" position, where it should be at idle. Your idle will go up or down a few 100's. The engine might turn off if the biss is closed too much.
Use the BISS screw on the throttle body to set the idle to about 800-900rpm (whatever you have your idle tables set at).
When you are done, deactivate the SAS mode. The car will want to idle funny in the beginning. You can either give it 5 or so minutes to readjust, or remove the battery for a few seconds and start the car again.
Unless I am mistaken, you should log about 20 steps in the ISC at idle, with a fully warmed up car.
