4th gear log to sink your teeth into

Stock block IX, FP Green, FP 4R. Stock BCS with #65 pill, Forge WGA

93oct V-Power & VP M1 Meth. 1050cc FIC (flow test @ 1100cc) + 500cc 1.0mm Meth Jet

Airflow in Lbs/min is measured (not estimated) using mrfred's airflow rate calc patch. Data corroborated with injector calculations here (injector size includes adjustment for 500cc of meth): http://rallyevo.com:8080/injectors.p...=12&max_idc=50

I estimate 430-440whp. Heading to the track tonight for trap speeds hopefully 122+mph.

you should think about getting a GM BCS, it would help with that taper.

Yea, I'm sure it will. How much more than 48 lb/min are people able to get out of the Green? I'd also consider a bigger turbo if I wasn't concerned about the stock bottom end.

i am pretty sure you are outside the turbo efficiency already so probably not much more.

No EGTs unfortunately. I would have logged AFR on this pull but my LC-1 sucks and doesn't always work. AFRs should be in the 12.5 - 12.0 range but I can't say for sure what they were here.

I would be a little nervous of your EGTs with they way you have the car tuned.

Too much boost?
Timing seems pretty aggresive, that should hold EGT´s within reasonable limits if A/F´s are correct.

It would definitely be good to know. I've been tuning in this way on this setup (minus the cams) for about a year now. I just replaced my plugs a couple weeks ago, and they looked very good... light browning and no deposits or deformation.

I definitely wouldn't run it this aggressive at any track other than the drag strip.

I dunno, it would just be soemthing to see at that aggressive of a tune. mid 12's plus that boost (on a turbo that may not be efficient at it) could equate to high EGTs.

That is why i wouldn't be incredibly worried. Should be fine for drag. Good luck at the track!

He already has the forge, and holding 25.5 psi at 7400 on a FPgreen looks to be pretty good to me.
