psi based boost on a BBK?

hi,

Anybody got PSI based boost control running a BBK and a stock block like to give me a basic idea where to start my wastegate maps at?

I had some unusual entries when I tried load based control last fall. Since I now am trying Trepha's latest xml thought I'd drop the mbc.

Just thought if I could start most of the way there I could reduce my time on on ramps.
Seems like I'm seeing a lot more enforcement than usual around here.

The stock maps are always a great place to start.

Tweek them little by little and eventually you will be where you want.

This is the answer most will give you on here. No one really shares maps because every car is different and everyone tunes a little different as well.

Just being honest.

Blue full, ported. I'm not pushing the turbo because im on stock block and crappy 91 here in CA. Running at a VERY conserative 21.5 psi. Holds with little to no boost error with these values.

Hope this helps.

thanks nano, that gives me a place to start. I might have started doing the opposite.

Appauldd, I don't have any idea where I would find a stock map. I think the maps are zeroed by Tephra.

Wow you can tell from the table how much boost this turbo makes up top.

BBK full, bad@ss port job from Bob @ MAP, oem WGA, with GM BCS fed off of the stock compressor outlet pipe.

Holds right around 24psi all the way across the powerband, as seen in this graph:

The upper map is with alky on, wgdc cranked up a bit more. A typical full bolt-on IX on this dyno will make ~320whp on this dyno, so this turbo is *excellent* on pump gas

Did you do the hack for the evoX/JDM map sensor as well as the direct boost mod? Double check your work
