Try twisting the throttle by hand. Does it stick/give resistance or catch at all in the throttle body?

there is slight feeling of the throttle plate just touching at one point, but it definitely does not get hung up and stay open as far as i can tell. i even put an extra wind in the spring so it snap backs with a bit more force.

quick update.. adjusting the maf screw made no difference in lowering airflow at idle. i still see the following.
43Hz AC off
56Hz AC on

Have you adjusted MAF size in ECU Flash? I have found I need to lower this with strokers as the load hits higher values than the 2.0. This is why your load goes up to 80-90 just off idle.

So you are saying change the value for MAF size from stock of 357.5 g/s to ? ? ?

yes.. i don't have the option to turn it right side up due to how the intake box is designed and length of the wires of the maf plug. i don't think it's an issue though since it ran just fine with stock motor and bolt-ons.

i think there is some posts of buschur doing this on his project white 2.3 since he was hitting very high loads, but in the end he got his maf scaled and was able to go back to the stock size maf. didn't seem like anyone really recommended changing the maf size, but i'm going by memory since search is useless here. i'd imagine doing this at this point would affect load across the board and you may have to make adjustments to your tune depending how drastic the change.
