You didn't understand the questions, "what map sensor?" and "did you turn your EGR off?"?

Really?

I set my top set of availability/completion settings to what people here used...didn't work.
So then I set the bottom ones to what people here used. Didn't work. My tuner sent me the ROM all his guys use. Didn't work. So, I was pretty much on my own.
Send me your ROM i don't mind editing that for you

I don't understand this:

You sure you have all the proper EGR offsets and pressure diff changes done?

Do you have the EGR test disable via Periph 2?
Plus, I apologized, explained, and thanked you for your help. Really, what the **** else do you need? A cookie?

I'd have to talk to jay. He did all the tuning and I'm not sure if he would be cool with me sending it out, but thanks. He looked at it and said, "yeah...its f'ed up" LOL
I can send you the definition file, though. It definitely has two sets listed in it, for some reason. I tried to pull one out but, like I said, I'm not so good at this stuff. LOL

I have a Evo 9 MR that has the patch done on the 88590015 rom however still does not show the readiness monitors as ready. I attached a screen shot, I'm just trying to figure out why it wouldn't be working/how to correct it

readiness monitors

Where's the screen shot of the readiness monitors? Are you using scantech or an obd scanner?

Hey everyone, been reading a lot about emission patch as I need it here. I just got my cable and unfortunately my ECU is running 94170014 Rom. Is there any way to make this work on 0014?

Please help

Holly s**t!! I can confirm using the 94170015 instruction in post #1 on 94170014 rom works!!!

I did all available and all ready and it works. Now I'm gonna try to make only once I need available. Will report back.

Thank you sooooo much

PS. ok just adjust the available sensors to only include 5 out of the 8, our cars only use 5 and yes it still worked perfect if anyone in the future needs this.

Thank you to all involved in creating this patch. I was able to pass NJ inspection. They gave me a hard time for having an aftermarket catalytic converter but they allowed me to pass. I can confirm they do have a camera to check underneath the vehicle so very thankful I swapped out the straight pipe I had previously. Next time around I'll just go to a private station and hopefully have less hassle.

As you can see the trick that worked for me was the "4019" up top.

The confusing thing is shown with green towards the bottom. I don't understand why it has "1" on the ac/sas and heat-cat values. When I scan it with my test-tool (above) you can clearly see that these are not available (the LCD lights are dimmed-out)

Anyways I think I am good now. I would love to help others. My test is not for a few months so I don't know for sure but I will check the status with my scanner when I drive the car. Car rarely gets driven though (only about 200 miles maybe put on it this year)
I can confirm this worked for me this week and I passed successfully with this setting. All of the monitors came up correctly and everything enabled/disabled was just like factory.

Thank you all for your help!
