a friend from japan has send me his self tuned map. the map is off a evo 8 mr jdm.
he sai the car runs great "without" nock (1-3counts)! but i think thats a choke , is not possible, on the map looks 40 degrees of timing by redline...

tell your opinion...

That does seem to be a lot of timing....

But you are looking at the alt map too

 

WOW he must be running 150 octane uranium enriched space race fuel w/ ZMAX additive, and The Incredible Hulks' sperm.

Ingredients for 154 octane fuel for this map:

1 part Ground elephant tusk ivory

stir for ten minutes then go racing w/ this JDM MAP of Gandolf like timing.

 

Is he not running any boost?

Ya man it kinda worries me. Hopefully that is not the map he runs ever and he is pulling your chain.

 

Are you sure that isn't like a 10psi boost cut map? Since it's on an alt map?

Where boost is being cut almost completely or is like WG pressure?

Or is "your buddy" always at 260 load or higher... and therefore never drives any of the rest of the damn map.

Either way, whoever did the "tuning" here needs to quit while they are behind.
