Can't save patch?
Can't save patch?
Whenever I insert a patch into the rom id folder it won't allow me to save keeps telling me cannot create the c:\Program etc and tells me to make sure the path and file name are correct which I have?
All you have to do is right click on the file your trying to edit, click properties, goto the security tab, then click the edit button to edit permissions, now click on the user profile your using for windows, then in the permissions window check the allow box for full control. now click the apply or ok button and your good to go!! VERY NIIIICE!!!!!!! Let me know if you need more help
I had the same thing happen to me. Make sure that you have turned off your user account control and then make sure that you have the proper file directory. I was attempting to put mine in to a wrong directory. I was attempting to put it in to a specific rom.
[Quote]there're xml definitions for the ecuflash supported cars reside in a directory, usually at:
c:\program files\openecu\ecuflash\rommetadata
Run ecuflash, open File\Options, select Directories\Metadata Directory and set it to the full path to the metadata directory mentioned above.
This will help EcuFlash correctly finding its metadata directory. Usually only "metadata" set in that box and it works because of the executable program relative path is correct but it may not in some cases. [Quote/]
Anyway what is important is to not have too specific of a sub directory likeC:\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo\ 941700015
Here is a link to a thread that helped me...https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...lem-vista.html
