Yeah, and after lowering the idle values, when I logged it in Evoscan it was showing the target idle at 950 but it was idling at 1800. I have to finish off my tank of e85, then I'll switch back to 91 and put the stock injectors back on to see whats going on. This thing is so much fun to drive, but sitting at a stop light at 1800 rpm is freakin annoying, lol.

When you did your pressure test, did you actually pressurize the IM or just the IC pipes? The only reason I ask is because that sounds like a symptom like a vacuum hose is disconnected from the IM.

Ya def sounds like a blown off hose... it will make it idle high as hell and no idle settings will fix it. I'd check that out first.

I got followed yesterday, and I thought for sure I was getting pulled over. I was lugging it at like 1500 rpm to try to be quiet.

I didn't open the throttle, but it did turn the double pumper on so the IM must be geting pressureized. I know it sounds like a vacuum hose issue but I sure couldn't find a problem. I will hvae more time to look at it tomorrow when I'm not working and not getting guilted by the girlfriend for always making love to my car.

Is the throttle body a new part? I have seen the throttle plates have too much clearance (not naming anyone brand I have seen it more than once) and allow air to bypass. If I saw a copy of the ROM I might be able to help if you need it.

My tuner said the same thing about the throttle body, but the reason I am questioning it is because the car idled fine with the same throttle body before I had it tuned. It definitely has a bigger gap than a stock one though.

You said this happened after you replaced the injectors, I wonder if one of the o-rings/gaskets for the injectors isn't sealed right and causing a vacuum leak.......

Have you logged throttle position? I know you said it happened after you got tuned, but maybe your cable is sticking, or misadjusted.

Old thread, I know.. but I am having the same EXACT issue, but only when the car is cold then it will aggressively drop back to normal around 1,000 once the car starts warming up a little bit.

take a look at your fuel trims, maybe the injectors need to be re-scaled? I've run into this issue on someones car who had just installed injectors. Car would hopelessly idle at 2k no matter what i did mechanically, or in the rom. Started manipulating the injector scaling and fixed the issue
