trouble is it was fine b4...
70-110 huh? Sounds like the EGR is making your car add too much timing perhaps use the periphery and disable the EGR as a test?

ok ECU reset did nothing.. still getting upto 13KS during cruise...

I also took a look around the engine bay, couldn't see any loose hoses...

my next course of action will be taking of the 3port and seeing if that helps.

too much timing at cruise can cause knock. Your original map you say does the same thing?

update...

ok so I flashed back to stock ROM (except for mode23 and rear02 disable)

and I only get cruise knock in the first 10 minutes of driving... car should be well warm by 3-5 mins...

Still that's more than I am used too...

I am going to have a look under the car tommorow and just make sure nothing is loose...

EGR is achieved by phasing the camshafts.

I agree with MrFred about checking the spark plugs. Since your car has been knocking for several days now there should be signs of detonation IF your car really is knocking.

Your issue is definitely a bit odd. Hard to imagine what could be causing it. Under closed loop cruise conditions, the 3-port ought not to be cycling, so I doubt you'll get any relief by unplugging it. I expect that there would be nothing wrong with the plugs, but I probably would probably still check. Not sure what I would expect to see if something is wrong. I'd probably try and take a look into the cylinder bore as well.
