ECU boost users - Do you want a higher boost cut load?
I've got a customer who is consistently pushing loads that are beyond the 319 max value in the boost cut load table. I didn't like the idea of increasing the delay time to avoid boost cut, so I've figured out a simple way to double the boost cut load max possible value to 638. I'll be using this on my customer's car, but I'm wondering if this is something people would like to see for general release as a simple DIY ECUFlash-based mod?

I personally wouldnt need it, due to using 2byteload (temp + baro), but Im sure there are many others using 1byteload, w/ big boy set ups, that exceed the 319 limit. Im sure they would love to be able to utilize the boost cut feature....

MrFred, I wouldn't find this particularly useful. I feel like that "feature" can cause damage of it's own. By all means if the masses want it though.
I tend to agree with this. When I first got my fp green I was hitting boost cut at 2500 rpms in second gear I thought it was a fuel problem at first because it almost felt like a backfire.

Not sure what you mean. For people with ECU boost control hitting more than 318 load, the only other option would be to set the boost cut delay to 1 bizillion seconds. By increasing the range of boost cut load values, the system can be used as it was intended.

Does the load limit system work by cutting fuel? If yes, then it would be applicable for any boost control scheme (ECU-based, aftermarket, or MBC).
