Well, like I said, you can learn a lot about how the car was running. If I did it again, I would get the boost gauge, wideband, MAP sensor, Tactrix cable, and Evoscan from the start, and see how the car ran stock. I would retune it, and see how it ran (using a dyno simulator like VDR), then start adding bolt ons and see what changed. I am doing that now with a slightly more modified car and am learning a lot in the process, but it would have been fun to do from the start.
A lot of it has to do with the fact that I tune my own car, and want to see the outcome of any changes made to the car. There is a lot to learn in that regard especially since tuning is such an integral and important part of making power (and reliable power).
