I have looked through the stickies and tried to search, but I'm not finding any good info on how to get started with the evoscan and ecuflash software.

BTW - I know a fair bit about actual tuning. I did all the tuning on my WRX and tuned it for E85 back in 06.

I just need to get started with how to store my rom and then change it and load the new one and things like that.

Once you download ecuflash it is very user friendly. Just scroll the mouse over the icons at the top and it will tell you what each one does. Evoscan is also pretty user friendly. Just click each item you want to log, and then click start datalogger. The start datalogger icon will then change to the stop datalogger icon. Is this the kind of help your looking for?

Yep. Read up a bunch of those and start slowly. Search around a bit in this forum too. Over the past couple of years just about anything you will hit, someone has hit it before. Failing that just ask, most people on here will help within reason .
