hey guys I noticed that the "Timing Retard Limit #1 and #2 show 255 in Tephra but there appears to be no area with this name in my original tune to copy over. Will I not be able to surpass 255 load unless I raise this or should I be leaving this alone? Its under Global Ignition Settings and this is with XML ID 88590715

thanks

wont affect load its the timing retard limit 255 = - 19 deg just leave as is , look in global fuel setting for fuel cut multiplier and fuel cut load x1 and x2 , max on original fuel cut load x1 is 319 if you change the multiplier then use fuel cut load x2 it goes to 638

need a little bit more help,

I translated, copied and triple checked my fuel map in tephra and its the same as my old perfect tune but the car runs very lean ~16-17 AFR when I start the car and run it briefly. I copied the injector scaling over so both files show scaling of 680. Any ideas?

Problem continues and it's actually running insanely rich at idle. I haven't tried revving it up but it's showing ~20 AFR and stumbling so something is definitely very wrong. I've searched for literally hours and have found nothing like this. I've tried multiple versions of the USDM Evo 9 rom but same thing happens even after all of the obvious maps and data are copied over

haha I just figured it out and raced back to this thread to say NVM but you beat me to it. My only remaining question is what to do with the accel enrichment (incorrect)? should I copy my stuff over or leave it alone? Thanks a bunch for the help

i have a crazy request. is it possible to disable a code that keeps coming up? i have a P0125. i have replaced my thermostat and both coolant temp sensors, MAF, o2 sensor. even flushed my coolant. my car runs right around 195-205F. i need to pass smog and this is the one thing that is keeping me from it.

so my question is is it possible to disable a specific code from poping up? similar to the rear o2 patch?

edit: i forgot to add that i have the rear o2 sim running along with the disabling the rear heater cel. i did not disable my rear o2 using the bits. if needed i can post up some screen shots of my bits if that will help maybe i touched one and didnt realize it?

i have read that thread already. its actually the reason why i ended my OP and included the info about my rom and bits. the only thing i could do is change my cloosed loop warm up temp to 7*C right now it is around 30-35*C

I'm trying to adjust my knock sensitivity but I can't seem to find a simplified explanation on which of the tables to change. There is background noise multiplier, noise adder(TRIPLE), and noise adder (SINGLE).

I have 1-2 counts of sporadic knock that does not go away with timing changes around 2500-3500 at low load (70-100). I've pulled 3-4 degrees out of it in these areas just to make sure it wasn't real knock. AFR's are great and I have absolutely no knock other than one or two random 1 counts anywhere else in my tune.

i believe you are referring to tip in knock. there is a discussion on low load/tip in knock here somewhere.

cheers

I'm trying to lower open loop engagement and I can't get it lower than 100 load. Settings is roughly 75 at 2500 rpm and 45% throttle at the same rpm . Am I missing a table that's not allowing what I want wtf?

Running 94170715 on an 03 that had 94170008

Are you changing both load tables and both tps tables?
